On motion by Mr. Wilkinson,

The Senate refused to recede from Senate amend-
ment.

Mr. Posey submitted the following message:
BY THE SENATE,

April 4th, 1892.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We respectfully request the return to the Senate
of House Bill No. 325, entitled an Act to amend the
Local Laws of Charles county, sub-title "Roads and
Bridges," so that the same may be amended.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House
of Delegates.

Mr. Gorter submitted the following message :

By THE SENATE,

April 4th, 1892.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

The Senate respectfully requests that House Bill
No. 194, in relation to civil jurisdiction of Justices, be
returned to the Senate.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House
of Delegates.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to amend Article 56, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Licenses."
sub-title "Traders," by adding an additional section
to follow after section 54 B, to be called "54 C."

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum <al
money to meet the additional expenses of the Legis-
lature for the srssion of 1892.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.
