CHAPTER 71.

AN ACT to amend "An act to incorporate the

Principle Manufacturing Company," chapter one

hundred and thirteen of the Acts of the General

Assembly of Maryland of eighteen hundred and

sixty-seven, and to change the name of said cor-

poration to the George P. Whitaker Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

hundred and sixty seven, be and the same is hereby

changed to the George P. Whitaker Company, and
the said corporation shall hereafter be known by the

name of "The George P. Whitaker Company ; "

provided, however, and it is hereby expressly de-

clared, that the change of the name herein made

shall in nowise effect the rights, privileges and pow-

ers of said corporation.
