	CHAPTER 63.
	AN ACT to cede to the United States the title to
	the land occupied by the Antietam National Cem-
	etery, near Sharpsburg, Washington county, in the
	State of Maryland, and to cede jurisdiction over
	same.
	Whereas the Congress of the United States, by
	act of March the second, eighteen hundred and sev-
	enty-seven, authorized the Secretary of War to pro-	Preamble.
	vide for the preservation and superintendence of the
	Antietam National Cemetery, near Sharpsburg, in the State of Maryland, as one of the National Cem-
	eteries of the United States, and
	Whereas the Board of Trustees of the said ceme-
	tery has transferred to the said Secretary of War, the	Preamble.
	possession of the said cemetery and the appurten-
	ances thereto belonging, and
	Whereas, by the act of the General Assembly of
	Maryland, passed March twenty-third, " Anno Do- mini," eighteen hundred and sixty-five, the title to	Preamble.
	the land now occupied by the said cemetery is vest
	ed in the State of Maryland as Trustee for the sev-
	eral States at interest in the matter now, therefore,
	SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That all the right, title and interest
	of the State of Maryland, and of the said State of
	Maryland acting as Trustee for other States, as here-
	inbefore set forth, in and to the land occupied by
	the Antietam National Cemetery, in the county of	Antietam
	Washington, in the State of Maryland, being all	Cemetery.
	that tract, parcel and lot of ground described in the
	Deed of Jacob Fiery, Trustee to Augustus W. Brad-
	ford, for the State of Maryland, dated the first day
	of August, Anno Domini, eighteen hundred and
	sixty-five, and recorded in Liber L. B. N., number
	one, folios one hundred and thirty-seven, one hun-
	dred and thirty-eight, and one hundred and thirty-
	nine, one of the land records of Washington county
	in the State of Maryland, and also all that tract,
	parcel and lot of ground, described in the Deed of
