porate the town of Laurel, in Prince George's

 

county," as amended and re-enacted by the act of

 

eighteen hundred and seventy-one, entitled " An act

 

to repeal sections four, twelve and fifteen of an act

sixty, entitled " An act to incorporate the town of

 

Laurel, in Prince George's county," be and the same-

 

are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-

 

ments, as follows :

   
 

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the male citizens-

 

of said town of the age of twenty-one years and up-

 

wards, who having resided therein for the space of

 

six months next preceding the first Monday in May

 

next, may on that day, at the place where elections

 

are held in said town, and on the first Monday in

 

May in each and every year thereafter, be authorized
