SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall

 

take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 467.

 

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and seventy-

 

three of article thirty of the Code of Public General

 

Laws, entitled " Crimes and Punishments," sub-

 

title "Rogues and Vagabonds," and to re-enact

 

the same with amendments.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

Repealed and
re-enacted.

of Maryland, That section one hundred and seventy-
three of article thirty of the Code of Public General

 

Laws, entitled " Crimes and Punishments," sub-title

 

" Rogues and Vagabonds," be and the same is hereby

 

repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

   
 

173. If any person shall be apprehended having

 

upon him any pick-lock, key, crow, jack, bit or other

implement, at places and under circumstances from
which an intent may be presumed feloniously to

him any pistol, hanger, cutlass, bludgeon or other

upon any dwelling house, warehouse, storehouse,

 

stable or outhouse, or in any enclosed yard or garden

 

or area belonging to any house, with an intent to

convicted thereof shall be sentenced to the peniten-

 

tiary for not less than one month nor more than two
