CHAPTER 430.

AN ACT to make valid the devise of Sarah E. Pat-

terson, late of Chester county, Pennsylvania, de-
|
 
|
ceased, of the sum of seven hundred and fifty dol-
|
 
|
lars to the trustees of " Lower West Nottingham
|
 
|
Presbyterian Church," in Cecil county, State of
|
 
|
Maryland.
|
 
|
 
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That the devise of Sarah E. Patter-
|
Devise made
|
son, late of Chester county, Pennsylvania, deceased,
|
valid.
|
of the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars, to the
|
 
|
trustees of the " Lower West Nottingham Presby-
|
 
|
terian Church," of the sixth district of Cecil county,
|
 
|
Maryland, be and the same is hereby declared valid
|
 
|
for all the purposes of said devise.
|
In force.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
|
 
|
take effect from the date of its passage.
|
 
|

CHAPTER 431.
|
 
|
AN ACT to prohibit the granting of license for the
|
 
|
sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager
|
 
|
beer within the village of Darlington, in Harford
|
 
|
county, or within one mile from the academy
|
 
|
building in said village.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That hereafter no license shall issue to
|
 
|
any person or persons to sell spirituous or fermented
|
License, if
issued, void
|
liquors or lager beer in the village of Darlington, in
Harford county, or within one mile from the academy
|
 
|
building in said village, and if license shall issue
|
 
|
the same shall be void.
