CHAPTER 429.

AN ACT to pay to Joshua Jones, of St. Mary's coun-
|
 
|
ty, the sum of thirty-four dollars, amount paid the
|
 
|
State by said Jones for license to carry on the
|
 
|
business of retail liquor dealer, said license being
|
 
|
suppressed a few weeks thereafter by orders of the
|
 
|
General Government.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to issue
|
 
|
his warrant to the Treasurer to pay Joshua Jones,
|
 
|
of St. Mary's county, the sum of thirty-four dollars,
being the sum paid by said Jones in eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-four, for license as retail liquor dealer

at Forestville, in said county, said license being sup-
pressed a few weeks after the issuing the same by
