Carroll county, of the sum of two hundred dollars,
to be by them invested, bearing interest, and the in-
terest thereof to be applied toward paying the salary
of the Reformed Minister of said church, of Carroll
county, Maryland.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
sections forty-nine and fifty-one of article thirty-
five of the Code of Public General Laws, title
" Elections," sub-title " Special Elections."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That sections forty-nine and fifty-one
of article thirty-five of the Code of Public General Laws, title " Elections," sub-title " Special Elections,"	Repealed and enacted in lieu.

SEC. 49. Warrants for all special elections shall
be issued to the sheriff of the county or city where
the election is to be held, who shall appoint a day
for the holding of the same, and shall give at least
