the Benjamin's, or Krider's Reformed Church, of
Carroll county, of the sum of two hundred dollars,
to be by them invested, bearing interest, and the in-
terest thereof to be applied toward paying the salary
of the Reformed Minister of said church, of Carroll
county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|

of Maryland, That sections forty-nine and fifty-one
|

of article thirty-five of the Code of Public General
Laws, title " Elections," sub-title " Special Elections,"

SEC. 49. Warrants for all special elections shall

be issued to the sheriff of the county or city where

the election is to be held, who shall appoint a day

for the holding of the same, and shall give at least

ten days' notice thereof, exclusive of the day of pub-
