AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Coun-

cil of Baltimore to condemn so much of the

property of the State of Maryland fronting on

Madison street in the city of Baltimore, being

part of the penitentiary ground, as will make

the said street of the uniform width of sixty-

six feet, and to alter the grades of certain streets

in the vicinity.
