tled "Washington county," sub-titled "Hagers-

town ; and to repeal the act of Assembly, passed at

the January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
|
|
|
|
seven, chapter two hundred and fifty-eight, entitled
|
|
|
|
" An act to amend article twenty-one of the Code
|
|
|
|
of Public Local Laws, entitled Washington coun-
|
|
|
|
ty," by amending and re-enacting certain sections,
|
|
|
|
and adding thereto further sections, and to re-enact
|
|
|
|
the same with amendments so as to elect the Coun-
|
|
|
|
cilmen of Hagerstown by the voters in the respec-
|
|
|
|
tive wards of said town, and to authorize the Jus-
|
|
|
|
tices of the Peace to enforce the ordinances rela-
|
|
|
|
tive to crimes and punishments, and to enact the
|
|
|
|
following in lieu thereof, in revision of the Char-
|
|
|
|
ter of Hagerstown, Maryland.

|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That sections one hundred and nine,
|
|
|
|
one hundred and ten and one hundred and eleven
|
|
|
|
of article twenty-one of the Code of Public Local
|
|
|
|
Laws, entitled " Washington county," and sub-titled
|
|
|
|
" Hagerstown ; " and chapter one hundred and forty-
|
|
|
|
six of the acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
|
land, passed at the January session, eighteen hundred
|
|
|
|
and sixty-four, entitled "An act to repeal section one
|
|
|
