District of Maryland, and shall, in all contracts to

 

be made hereafter for the employment of the con-

 

victs in said penitentiary, and in the sale 'of the

 

manufacturies of the said institution, provide goods

 

so manufactured, whether under said contracts or

 

for sale, shall be sold and delivered beyond the lim-

 

its of this State ; to the Maryland Institute for the

 

instruction of the blind, as per act of eighteen hun-

 

dred and sixty-eight, chapter two hundred and five,

 

fifteen thousand dollars ; to the Board of Directors

 

of the Maryland Institution for the instruction of the

 

blind, for the education of deaf, dumb and blind

 

colored children of this State, eight thousand five

 

hundred dollars ; to the lying-in Hospital for Indi-

 

gent Women, three thousand dollars ; to the House

 

of Refuge, fifteen thousand dollars ; to the Boys'

 

Home of Baltimore city, five hundred dollars ; to

 

the House of Reformation and Instruction for Col-

 

ored Children, eight thousand dollars ; to the Mary-

 

land Institute for the Promotion of the Mechanic

 

Arts, as provided by act of eighteen hundred

 

and sixty-eight, chapter one hundred and ninety-

 

eight, and the proposed extension of its charter,

 

three thousand dollars; to the Managers of the

 

Maryland Hospital for the Insane, fifteen thousand

 

dollars; for the insurance on the State Normal

 

School building in Baltimore, two hundred and fifty

 

dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ;

 

for insurance on State House of Correction, three

 

hundred and fifty dollars, or so much thereof as may

 

be necessary ; to the State House of Correction for

 

the support of the Institution, thirty thousand dol-

 

lars ; to two watchmen for the State House of cor-

 

rection, seven hundred dollars each — fourteen hun-

 

dred dollars.
