the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to

read as follows :

Whereas the Trustees of the Buckingham Acad-

emy and Female Seminary of Berlin, by neglecting
|

revived and extended in order to preserve the rever-

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the act entitled " An act to incorporate
|

the Trustees of Buckingham Academy and Female

extended.

Seminary of Berlin," passed December session,
|
 
|
eighteen hundred and forty-six, chapter sixty-eight,
be and the same is hereby revived and extended until
|
 
|
altered or annulled by the General Assembly.
|
 
|
2. And be it enacted, That John S. Purnell,
|
 
|
Robert J. Henry, H. R. Pitts, Wm. D. Pitts, Cyrus
|
 
|
L. Williams, L. D. Powell, John R. Purnell, John
|

T. Hammond, Levin L. Dirickson and Zadok P.

Henry, the present Board of Trustees, shall exercise

all the rights, privileges and powers conferred by
|
 
|
said act upon the orignal Board of Trustees, and the
|

office of said trustees shall not become vacant on
|
 
|
account of failure to attend the meetings of said
|
 
|
board.
|
 
|
3. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
|
