LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

ford County Agricultural Society, and a like sum to

 

the Kent County Agricultural Society Number One,
and a like sum to the Howard County Agricultural
Society, and a like sum to the Queen Anne's Agricul-

 

tural Society ; provided the members of said societies
shall pay an equal amount into their treasuries before
the appropriation herein made shall be paid, which
fact shall be attested by the affidavit of the president

 

and treasurer of said societies, filed in the office of

 

the Comptroller of the State.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 362.

 

AN ACT to amend the act of eighteen hundred and

 

seventy-four, chapter three hundred and sixty-five,

 

entitled "An act to incorporate the Maryland

 

Canal Company," by repealing sections two and

 

three of said act, and by re-enacting said sections

 

in new and amended forms.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That sections two and three of the

the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted in a
