CHAPTER 355.
|
|
|
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the
|
|
|
purpose of furnishing and providing the Chem-
|
|
|
ical Fire Extinguishers for the different State
|
|
|
Departments.
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the Board of Public Works be
|
|
|
and they are hereby authorized and directed to
|
|
|
purchase and procure twelve Chemical Fire Ex-
|
|
Procure
|
tinguishers for the following Departments: Six
|
|
chemical fire
|
thereof for the State House, two for the Land Of-
|
|
extinguishers
|
fice, two for the Governor's Mansion, two for the
|
|
|
Comptroller's Office, and the sum of five hundred
|
|
|
dollars, or as much thereof as may bo necessary,
|
|
|
is hereby appropriated for the same out of any
|
|
|
moneys not otherwise appropriated.
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller
|
|
|
is hereby directed to draw his warrant upon the
|
|
|
Treasurer for such sum and to the order of such
|
|
|
person as the Board of Public Works certify to,
|
|
Give receipt.

and upon said person so furnishing and delivering
said extinguishers to the departments aforesaid,
|
|
|
and giving his receipt for said sum so certified to
|
|
|
by said Board of Public Works.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
|
|
effect from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
