CHAPTER 350.
|
 
|
AN ACT to repeal the following acts of the General
|
 
|
Assembly of Maryland, in relation to pensions :
|
 
|
the act of eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter
|
 
|
four hundred and seventy-seven; the act of
|
 
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chapter three
|
 
|
hundred and nine ; the acts of eighteen hundred
|
 
|
and seventy-four, chapters three hundred and five,
|
 
|
three hundred and fifty-one, and four hundred and
|
 
|
fifteen, and the act of eighteen hundred and sev-
|
 
|
enty-six, chapter three hundred and twenty.

|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That the act of eighteen hundred and
|
 
|
seventy, chapter four hundred and seventy-seven,
|
Repeal.
|
entitled " An act to repeal the act of eighteen hun-
|
 
|
dred and sixty-seven, chapter three hundred and
|
 
|
eighty-five, which provides for paying pensions to
the Maryland soldiers of the war of eighteen hun-
|
 
|
dred and twelve, and to the widows of deceased
|
 
|
soldiers of that war ; and also to repeal the act of
|
 
|
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter four hun-
|
 
|
dred and thirty-two, providing pensions for certain
|
 
|
soldiers and widows of soldiers of the war of eighteen
|
 
|
hundred and twelve, and to provide in lieu thereof
|
 
|
for allowing pensions to certain soldiers and widows
|
 
|
of soldiers of the war of eighteen hundred and twelve;"
|
 
|
the act of eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chap-
|
 
|
ter three hundred and nine, entitled "An act to
|
 
|
authorize the Comptroller to audit and settle the
|
 
|
claims of Catherine Middleton and Sarah Ann John-
|
 
|
son ;" the acts of eighteen hundred and seventy-four,
|
 
|
chapter three hundred and five, entitled " An act to
|
 
|
appropriate a sum of money to pay the claims of
|
 
|
Ruth P. Griffith and Susannah Bond, of Baltimore
|
 
|
city, and Lydia Smith, of Harford county ;" chap-
|
 
|
ter three hundred and fifty-one, entitled " An act
|
 
|
for the benefit of Emeline Redue, widow of Joseph
|
 
|
Redue, Solomon Scott and John V. Soloway," and
|
 
|
chapter four hundred and fifteen, entitled " An act
|
 
|
to authorize the Comptroller to audit and settle the
