not exceeding two-thirds of the road tax due by such

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the road commis-
|
 
|
sioners so appointed shall, within ten days after re-
|
 
|
ceiving notice of their appointment, and having
|
 
|
taken the oath of office, proceed to organize their
|
 
|
respective boards, and shall meet for the transaction
|
 
|
of business, at such time and place as they may de-
|

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That each commissioner

shall furnish to the County Commissioners, on the

first Tuesday of each month, a statement of the

amount of labor performed or materials furnished,

the cost of the same and to whom due ; and said
|

statement shall embrace, as near as possible, the en-
|
 
|
tire expenses of his sub-district for the month just
|
 
|

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That all Road Commis-

tified of the charge against them in writing by the

and if any commissioner shall resign or be removed,

his place shall be filled by the County Commissioners

within thirty days after any vacancy shall occur.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the County Com-
