CHAPTER 49.

AN ACT to give the sanction of the General As-

sembly of Maryland to the bequest contained in

the will and codicil of William Tilghman John-

ston, late of Baltimore county, deceased, in favor

of the vestry of St. John's Church, Huntingdon,

in said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

hereby given to the bequest contained in the will

and codicil of William Tilghman Johnston, late of

Baltimore county, deceased, to or in favor of the

vestry of St. John's Church, Huntingdon, in said

county, of which he was rector, and which will and

codicil are duly admitted to probate in the Orphans'

Court of said county.

CHAPTER 50.

AN ACT to refund to the National Bank of Balti-

more of Baltimore city, State taxes erroneously

paid into the treasury for the year eighteen hun-

dred and seventy-seven.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

Treasurer to
pay

of Maryland, That the Treasurer, on the warrant
of the Comptroller, pay to the National Bank of

Baltimore, or to their order, the sum of twenty-nine

dollars and eight cents for taxes erroneously paid by
the said bank into the treasury for the year eighteen

hundred and seventy-seven.

SEC. 2 And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.
