CHAPTER 45.
|

AN ACT to create a new election district in Som-
|
|
|
|
|
erset county, and comprising all that territory be-
|
|
|
|
|
longing to the State of Maryland on Smith's
|
|
|
|
|
Islands.
|

|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That a new election district be laid
|
|
|
|
|
out of Crisfield District, number seven, in Somerset
|
|
|
|

county, the said district to be known and called by
the name of Smith's Island District, or election dis-

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said new elec-

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place of hold-

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the Governor
|
|
|
|

shall appoint two justices of the peace for the said

which said registrar shall be a resident of the Island,

sittings at the usual place of holding elections in

SEO. 5. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants of

said new election district number ten shall be en-
