CHAPTER 289.
AN ACT to regulate the fees of the State's Attorney
for St. Mary's county.
SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Saint Mary's county, may, in their discretion, allow the State's Attorney for Saint Mary's county addi-	Additional compensati' n
tional compensation ; provided, that no additional
compensation shall be allowed when the total ap-
pearance fees allowed by law to said State's Attor-
ney amount or exceed in any one year the sum of
one thousand dollars ; and, provided, further, that
this act shall not be so construed as to include the
fees and commissions of the said State's Attorney
allowed and paid by the State of Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the State's Attor-
ney of Saint Mary's county shall not receive any fee
in cases of recognizance except when the same are	Not receive

CHAPTER 290.
AN ACT to regulate the price to be paid for the
county printing of St. Mary's county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
St. Mary's county shall, before their levy term in
each year, contract with the editors and proprietors	Contract for
