and their successors forever, for the use and benefit

of the congregation, according to the rules and regu-

lations of the discipline of the Methodist Episcopal
|

Church ; and the deeds or other conveyances made
|
 
|
to the trustees hereby incorporated, or any of their
|
 
|
predecessors, shall be for the benefit of the Metho-
|
 
|
dist Episcopal Church, and they are hereby made
|
 
|
legal and valid to all intents and purposes, as much
|
 
|
so as if the said trustees had been incorporated be-
|
 
|
fore receiving such deeds and conveyances.
|
 
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That whenever any
|
 
|
vacancy shall occur in the board of trustees, in con-
|
 
|
sequence of death, removal, resignation, or ceasing
|

SEC. 5. And be it enacted. That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.
