SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

firmed and ratified by the General Assembly of the

State of Virginia, and by the Congress of the United

States, thereupon and immediately thereafter the

said award and survey matter and things therein

contained shall be obligatory on the State and the

citizens thereof, and shall be forever faithfully and

inviolably observed, and kept by this State and all

its citizens, according to the true intent and meaning

of the same, and to that end the faith of this State

shall stand pledged.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Governor

is hereby requested to forward a copy of this act to

the Governor of Virginia, with a request that the

gress, with a request that they prociire such legisla-
