LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

sembly, four hundred and fifty dollars; for the

 

salaries of two Fish Commissioners, eleven hundred

 

and twenty-five dollars each — twenty-two hundred

 

and fifty dollars ; for the Commission of Fisheries,

 

provided by the act of eighteen hundred and seven-

 

ty-six, chapter forty-seven, seven thousand five hun-

 

dred dollars, or so much thereof as may in the

 

opinion of the Governor be necessary ; to pay to two

 

watchmen at the House of Correction, fourteen

 

hundred and sixty dollars ; for payment of money

 

advanced to the State by the Farmers and Mer-

 

chants National Bank of Baltimore, and Alexander

 

Brown & Sons, of Baltimore, with interest thereon

 

at six per cent, per annum, ($91,000) ninety-one

 

thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-

 

sary.

 

PUBLIC DEBT.

 

To the payment of the interest on the public debt

 

of the State, including cost of exchange, remittance
