CHAPTER 220.

 

AN ACT changing the place of voting in the third

 

election district of Kent county, Maryland, from

 

"Worten Heights," or " Hanesville," to Smith-

 

ville, in said election district.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That the place of voting in the third
election district of Kent county, Maryland, be and
is hereby changed from "Worten Heights," or

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act

pany of Allegany County," organized under an act

 

to authorize the formation of corporations for mining

 

purposes, passed at January session, eighteen hun-

 

red and fifty-two, chapter three hundred and

 

twenty-two, be and it is hereby authorized and

 

empowered to purchase and hold such amount of the
capital stock and first mortgage bonds of any rail-
road corporation which now owns or may hereafter
