CHAPTER 195.

AN ACT to consolidate the Baltimore, Hampden
|
 
|
and Towsontown Railroad Company, incorporated
|
 
|
by the act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
 
|
passed in eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chap-
|
 
|
ter three hundred and fourteen, under the name
|
 
|
of the Baltimore and Swann Lake Passenger
|
 
|
Railroad Company, as amended by the act of
|
 
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter two
|
 
|
hundred and seventy-two, and the Baltimore, Tow-
|
 
|
sontown, Dulaney's Yalley and Delta Narrow
|
 
|
Guage Railway Company, as incorporated under
|
 
|
the provisions of the act of eighteen hundred and
|
 
|
seventy, chapter four hundred and seventy-six,
|
 
|
with powers to construct, manage and operate a
|
 
|
railway from the city of Baltimore, through Bal-
|
 
|
timore and Harford counties, to a point on the
|
 
|
Pennsylvania line near Delta.

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That the Baltimore, Hampden and
|
 
|
Towsontown Railroad Company, incorporated by the
|
 
|
act of eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter
|
 
|
three hundred and fourteen, under the name of the
|

Baltimore and Swann Lake Passenger Railway Com-
|
autborized to
consolidate.

pany, as amended by the act of eighteen hundred and
seventy-four, chapter two hundred and seventy-two,
|
 
|
and the Baltimore, Towsontown, Dulaney's V alley
|
 
|
and Delta Narrow Guage Railway Company, as in-
|
 
|
corporated under the act of eighteen hundred and
|
 
|
seventy, chapter four hundred and seventy-six, the
|
 
|
charter of which was recorded in the office of the
|
 
|
Secretary of State at Annapolis, on the twenty-
|
 
|
second day of March, eighteen hundred and seventy-
|
 
|
six, be and they are hereby authorized to consolidate
|
 
|
themselves into a single corporation, to be known as
|
 
|
the Baltimore and Delta Railway Company, which
|
 
|
consolidation shall be made in the manner follow-
