7. Whenever any license shall be suppressed for
any violation of this act, it shall not be lawful for

the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cecil county to

grant a license to sell spirituous or fermented liquors
or lager beer to any other person for the remainder

of the term for which said premises have been rented

to sell as aforesaid upon the premises for which the

license has been so suppressed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 178.
|
 
|
AN ACT to add additional sections to article eighty-
|
 
|
one of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
|
 
|
" Revenue and Taxes," and to repeal all laws in-
|
 
|
consistent with the provisions of said sections.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That additional sections be and the
|
 
|
same are hereby added to article eighty-one of the
|
 
|
Code of Public General Laws, entitled " Revenue
|
 
|
and Taxes," to read as follows :
|
 
|
SEC. 149. There shall be in the Treasury Depart-
|
