Samuel Johnson, deceased; and whereas the said
|
|
|
|
Cyntice Cannon, having been born out of wedlock,
|
|
|
|
the State of Maryland became entitled to the prop-
|
|
|
|
erty of the said intestate ; but, whereas, Aaron Can-
|
|
|
|
non, brother to said intestate's mother, afforded main-
|
|
|
|
tenance to the said Cyntice until she grew up,
|
|
|
|
without charge or return; and whereas the said
|
|
|
|
Aaron has departed this life, leaving Catherine M.
|
|
|
|
Cannon, his widow, with several infant children, in
|
|
|
|
very necessitous circumstances, therefore
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That all the right, title and interest
|
|
|
|
of the State of Maryland in and to the said sum of
|
|
|
|
one hundred and twenty-four dollars and eighteen
|
|
|

cents, be and the same is hereby assigned, trans-

non, who is hereby empowered to demand, collect

and receive the same ; and the trustee to sell the
