CHAPTER 133.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of

Harford county to levy a sum of money as a pen-

sion for William L. Bailey, of said county.

|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Harford county be and they are hereby authorized,
in their discretion, to levy annually upon the assess-
|

able property of said county, for the sum of fifty

dollars, to be paid annually to William L. Bailey.

gation and Wharf Company.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That John Webster, Major S. Fletch-
|
|
|
|
er, Samuel L. Webster, John W. Fletcher, Elbridge
|
|
|
|
S. Johnson, L. P. Judson, W. E. Johnson, A. In-
|
|
|
|
gram, George A. Thompson, Henry W. Houston, F.
Dean and George P. Jones, be, and they are here-
by appointed Commissioners, under the direction of
whom subscriptions may be received to the capital

ers.

|
|
Company, hereby incorporated, and they, or any five

of them, may cause books to be opened at such times

and places as they may direct, for the purpose of re-
ceiving subscriptions to the capital stock of said com-
|
|
|
|
pany, after having given such notice of the times and
|
|
|
|
places of opening the same as they may deem prop-
|
|
|
|
er, and the said commissioners, or any of them, may
|
|
|
|
continue from time to time to open said books, and

shares shall have been subscribed. If any of the
