Public Local Laws, be and the same are hereby re-

in lieu.

pealed and the following be enacted in lieu thereof,
|
|
|
|
|
to be sections thirty-two, fifty-five, seventy-one and
|
|
|
|
|
seventy-three respectively :
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 32. And te it enacted, That all persons en-
|
|
|
|
|
titled to vote for delegates to the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, and who have resided within the cor-
|
|
|
|
|
porate limits of said town of Centreville for twelve
|
|
|
|
|
months preceding an election for Town Commission-
|
|
|
|
|
ers, or who hold taxable property in said town and
|
|
|
|
|
pay taxes thereon, shall, at the court-house in said
|
|
|
|
|
town, on the first Monday in April of the year
|
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, and every sec-
|
|
|
|

SEC. 55. And be it enacted, That the Town Com-

Centreville and full power and authority to enact

rules and regulations for the sale in said town of all

meats, poultry, fish, fruits, vegetables and other pro-

visions therein, and to enforce all such rules and
|
|
|
|
|
regulations by fines, penalties and forfeitures.

|
|
|
SEC. 71. And be it enacted, That the Commis-
|
|
|
|
|
sioners of Centreville may adopt the county assess-
|
|
|
|
|
ment and valuation of all real and personal property
|
|
|
|
|
in said town, and may annually, between the first
|
|
|
|
May levy.

day of April and the first day of May, levy on the
|
|
|
|
|
property so assessed, such sums of money, not to ex-
|
|
|
|
|
ceed thirty cents for every hundred dollars, in any
|
|
|
|
|
one year, as they may deem necessary for the im-
|
|
|
|
|
provement and expenses of said town.
