before them consistent and in conformity with the

corporate powers of said company, and until the

next election of officers, the board of directors and

other officers of said company shall remain as at

present constituted.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That so much of the

|
|
|
aforesaid act of eighteen hundred and seventy-six,
|
|
|
|
and of the proceeding acts of assembly relating to
the chartering and incorporating of said Railroad
Company, and the exercise of the powers, rights,
|

privileges and duties conferred on or granted to it

|
|
|
as may be inconsistent or at variance with the terms
|
|
|
|
and provisions of the two proceeding sections, be

|
|
|
and the same is hereby repealed.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Com-

missioners of Allegany county to investigate the

claim of William H. Moore, and levy and pay

him such sum as they may find to be just.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the Commissioners of Alle-
|
|
|
|
gany county be and are hereby authorized and di-
rected to investigate the claim of William H.
Moore against said county, being an assigned claim
of William Armstrong for services as clerk to an
