REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Thompson, from the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and its. Tributaries, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 53, of Article 72, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Oysters," sab-title
"Packing Oysters."
Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Brashears, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the An-
napolis, Eastport and Bay Ridge Electric Railway
and Power Company of Anne Arundel county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr Bevard, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Harford County," sub-title "Havre de Grace," re-
lating to excavating for moulding sand or otherwise,
to come in after section 169 and to be called "Section
169 A," and to repeal all laws and parts of laws in-
consistent therewith.
Which was read a first time.
BILLS—SECOND READING.
House bill entitled an Act to authorize and require
the County Commissioners of Baltimore county to
make a special annual tax levy of ten cents on each
hundred dollars of the assessable property in the 13th
Election District of Baltimore county, for the purpose
of macadamizing the county roads of said district, if
fifty or more taxable residents of said district shall
petition therefor.
