Mr. Orrick demanded the yeas and nays.
The demand was sustained.
The yeas and nays were called, and appeared as
follows :

Sherry, Gaver, Grove, of Frederick, Hayward, John-
son, Thompson, Brennan, Fox, Carter, Bowie, of
Baltimore city, Gill, Sams, Sanders, Frincke, Carr,
Cornthwaite Joyce, Smith, of Washington, Shafer,
Garrett, Laird, Griffith, Barber, Stottlemyer, Haines,

So the proposed amendment was rejected.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following; message :
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of this State, title "Talbot County," sub titled "Srate's
Attorney."
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays, with proposed amendment" :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 237, line 8, strike out "two thousand
dollars" and insert "fifteen hundred."
Which was adopted.
