House bill entitled an Act to provide for the tax-
ation of mortgages and debts secured by mortgage on
property within this State, for Sta,te, county and
municipal purposes.
Which was adopted.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to provide for the collec-
tion of statistics regarding the mortgage indebtedness
secured by liens on agricultural lands in this State,
and to provide for the payment of the expenses in-
curred .
Which was adopted.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to pay Charles Simon, Jr.,
and Alfred Simon, executors of the last will and tes-
tament of John M. Simon, late of Baltimore, deceased,
taxes paid by Mrs. Johanna M. Simon in her life
time in error.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to prevent the importa-
tion and sale of diseased or maimed animals and un-
wholesome articles of food, and to provide for the
inspection thereof.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 93, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Revenue and Taxes," and re-enact the same with,
amendments.

House bill entitled an Act to secure the benefits of
and care and medical and surgical treatment to in-
digent deserving persons of this State and to appro-
priate a sum o± money therefor.
