On motion of Mr. Carter,
Leave was slanted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act appropriating
a sum of money to refund E. Calvin Williams, admin-
istrator pendente lite of Mary A. Conine, deceased,
late of Baltimore city, into the State Treasury, as a
tax on commissions in pursuance of Article 81, section
97. of the Code of Public General Laws,
On motion of Mr. Bowie, of Prince George's,
Leave was granted to the Prince George's County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
and re-enact section 28, of Article 56, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Licenses," sub-title
"Hawkers and Pedlars," so far as the same applies to
Prince George's county.
On motion of Mr. Hayman,
Leave was granted to the Worcester County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to enable the
qualified voters of the Seventh Election District of
Worcester county to determine by ballot whether
Article 24, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Worcester County," sub-title "Fences,"
shall apply to said Seventh Election District of said
county.
On motion of Mr. Ellegood,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to extend the
privileges and immunities of the Baltimore and
Eastern Shore Railroad Company.
On motion of Mr. Gallagher,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to give and
grant the sanction and consent of the General Assem -
bly of Maryland to certain legacies and bequests con-
tained in the last will and testament of Peter Kelly,
late of Baltimore city, deceased.
On motion of Mr. Sellman,
Leave was granted to the Carroll County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to resubmit the
question of local option in Freedom District, Carroll
county, at the next general election.
