and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the County Commissioners of Charles county to levy
a certain sum of money to pay H. Clagett Page, of
said county, for indexing the Land Records of said
county.
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town
of Preston, in Caroline county.
House bill entitled an Act for the better protection
of game in St. Mary's county, and to prevent the
shooting or taking of same by non-residents without
license.
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 17, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "Prince George's County," to be Known as
"Section 332."
House bill entitled an Act to legalize and make valid
the appointment of Registers of Voters and the Board
of Supervisors of Elections in the city of Hagerstown,
and the entries made, acts done, and proceedings
taken by said Registers of Voters in attempted pur-
suance of the duties required of them respectively
by the provisions of chapter 36, of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its present
January Session, entitled an Act to repeal sections
156 and 169, of Article 22, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, entitled "Washington County," sub-title
"Hagerstown, ' and to re-enact the following in lieu,
thereof, amending and revising the charter of Hagers-
town, and in providing for the government thereof,
and to add new and additional sections to Article 22,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Washington
County," sub-title "Hagerstown."
House bill entitled an Act to add a further supple-
ment to the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at the December Session, 1840, chapter
215, entitled an Act for cleaning out the Pocomoke
River by means of lattery, and the supplements there-
to, namely: Act passed at the session of 1845, chap-
ter 321; Act passed at session of 1846, chapter 361 ;
Act passed at session of 1858, chapter 178 ; Act passed
