House bill entitled an Act to give the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of
Mary Warfield to the Church of the Ascension, in
Baltimore city.

Mr. Groye, of Frederick, introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum
of $2,000 to erect a monument over the grave of
Francis Scott Key, in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Freder-
ick city, Maryland.

Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Bowie, of Baltimore city, introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claim of Wyatt Owen, for material
and labor furnished for the enlargement of the Mary-
land State House.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the State
Treasurer to repair the treasury building, and the
vault thereof, and to purchase a safe for the use of

measurers of oysters in the City of Baltimore, the
