liquors in Baltimore city.
On motion of Mr. Laird,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
the State Treasurer to repair the treasury building
and the vault thereof, and to purchase a safe for the
use of the Treasurer's office.
On motion of Mr. Lane,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Carrico, Lane and
Combs to introduce a bill entitled an Act repealing
and re-enacting with amendments section 136, of Art-
icle 5, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
titled "Calvert, St. Mary's and Charles Counties,"
entitled ' 'Terrapins.''
On motion of Mr. Lane,
Leave was granted to the Calvert County Delega-
tion and Mr. Combs to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to add two new sections to Article 5, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Calvert County," sub title
"County Commissioners," regulating the term of office
of the County Commissioners of said county, to be
designated as sections 46 A and 46 B.
On motion of Mr. Hutchins,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
sections 191, 192, 194 and 199, of Article 2, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel
County," sub title "Roads," and to're-enact the same
with amendments, and to ad i three new sections to
follow immediately after section 191, to be designated
as sections 391 A, 191 B and 191 C.
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to protect persons
keeping boarders and lodgers in their houses and for
other purposes.
On motion of Mr. Hamilton,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
and empower the Board of Public Works to sell the
Eastern Hay Scales property in the city of Baltimore,
