House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the City Savings Bank of Baltimore city, formerly the
Peabody Savings Institution of Baltimore city, in
Tespect to its directors, and to amend the powers of
said corporation.
Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Joyce, reported favorably, from the Committee
on Corporations,
Senate bill entitled an Act to extend the charter of
Mount Savage Lodge, No. 43, Independent Order of
Odd Fellows, granted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, at its December Session, 1844, chapter 293,
and to grant additional powers to said corporation.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 1, of
section 4, of chapter 169, of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session,
1878, entitled an Act to continue the corporate exis-
tence of the President, Directors and Company of the
Hagerstown Bank, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 17, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "Prince George's County," to be known as
"Section 332."
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Art to make valid the cor-
porate name of "The United Sons of Towsontown
Lodge, No. 1773, of the General United Order of Odd
Fellows," which might otherwise be deemed defective.
Which was read a second time.
