INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
Mr. Collins introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re enact
with amendments section 2ll, of Article 23, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Corporations,"
sub-title "Religious Corporations."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Carter introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to add a section to Arti-
cle 43, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Health," sub-title "Nuisances," to follow section 38,
and to be designated "38 A."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message :
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 252, of Article 4, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "City of Bal-
timore," sub-title "Elections."
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Baltimore, Canton and Point Breeze Railway Com-
pany of Baltimore city, by authorizing: it to lease,
purchase or aid other railroads or to consolidate with
the same.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with additional amendments sections 39, 40, 41, 42, 43,
44, 45, 46 and 67, of Article 43, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Health," sub-title "Practitioners
of Medicine," and to add additional sections thereto,
to be designated as sections 49, 50, 51 and 52.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciarv.
