public road in said county, leading through the farm
of the said Goo. L. Michaels.
On motion of Mr. Canby,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
the Cherry Chase Land Company of Montgomery
county, Maryland, to sell to, or contract with the
Rock Creek Railway Company of the District of
Columbia, respecting the railroad of the said the
Cherry Chase Land Company of Montgomery county,
Maryland, and to define the powers of the said the
Rock Creek Railway Company of the District of
Columbia, in case of such sale or contract.
On motion of Mr. Canby,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
and empower the Cherry Chase Land Company of
Montgomery county, Maryland, to exercise certain of
its powers and carry on certain of its operations in
the District of Columbia.
On motion of Mr. Hill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an addi-
tional section to Article 75, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Pleading, Practice and Process."

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
BY THE SENATE,
January 20th, 1892.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message proposing the ap-
pointment of a Joint Committee of two on the part of
the House of Delegates and one on the part of the
Senate, to visit the Maryland Agricultural College,
and the Maryland Experiment Station and report to
the General Assembly the condition of the same, and
what changes, if any, are needed to promote the use-
fulness of the institutions, and respectfully concur
therein.
