House bill entitled an Act to enable the Martini
German Evangelical Lutheran Congregation, Unaltered
Augsburg Confession, of Baltimore, Maryland, to sell,
lease, dispose of or mortgage and convey its property.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 244, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws title
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Rivers," and
re-enact the same with amendments.
Also, favorably;
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 116 C,
of Article 17, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Prince George's County," sub-title "County Treas-
urer," and to repeal and re-enact with amendments
sections 116 B, 116 E, 116 F, 116 G and 117, of said
Article, and respective sections appear in chapter 137
of the Acts of 1890, and to add to said Article a new
section to follow immediately after section 117, to be
designated as section 117 A.
Which were severally read a first time.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Baltimore City," to follow section 212, and to be
designated as section 212 A.
Mr. Sams moved to substitute the bill for the unfav-
orable report.
Which motion was rejected.
Report of Committee was then adopted.
Also, reported back,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay Noah C. Sterling for the loss of the
schooner Martha E. Freeman.
Stating there was no legal objection to the passage
of the bill.
Mr. Wilkinson moved to re-commit said bill to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Which motion prevailed, and bill so referred.
