Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the ex-
amination and report at stated times of Trusts,
Guaranty, Loan and Fidelity Companies, now or here-
after doing business in this State, and also to regulate
the conduct of business by, and fix the liability of
shareholders in said companies.
Being on its third reading and final passage,
Mr. McSherry submitted the following proposed
amendments :
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend title as follows:
Strike out all after "a bill," and insert "entitled an
Act to add additional sections to Article 23, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Corporations."
sub title "General Regulations," to follow immedi-
ately after section 85 A, 85 B, 85 C, 85 D, 85 E, 85 F,
85 G, 85 H, 85 I, 85 K, 85 L and 85 M, to pro-
vide for the examination and repo t at stated times
of Trust, Guaranty, Loan and Fidelily Companies
now or hereafter doing business in this State, and
also to regulate the conduct of business by and fix
the liability of shareholders in said companies.

Amend section 1 so as to read as follows:
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That additional sections, be and they.
