BILLS.-THIRD READING.
Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate to the
payment of the outstanding overdue debt of the
State, issued under chapter 41 of the Acts of 1847, so
much of the money received of the United States in
settlement of the claim of the State for direct taxes
as may be necessary thereof, and to forbid the further
issue of the Exchange Loan of 1891, authorized there
for to the extent of the debt so paid, and to appro-
priate the balance of said direct taxes to the General
Sinking Fund.
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and
