Commissioners of Dorchester county to borrow money
on the credit of the county, f or the purpose of bridges.

Endorsed : "Read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays, with proposed amendments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out section "3," and insert the following in
lieu thereof :
"Section 3. And be it further enacted, That the
County Commissioners are hereby authorized and em-
powered to levy annually upon the assessable property
of Dorchester county, a tax sufficient to pay the semi-
annual interest on said bonds, notes or bills obliga-
tory by them issued in pursuance of this Act, and they
shall also levy, when necessary, such additional sum
or sums as may be requisite to pay the principal of
said bonds, notes or bills obligatory, as the same may
accrue when due."
