Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
sections 1 and 2, of the Act of 1874, chapter 282.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments chapter No. 400, of the laws of 1886,
entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Board
of Managers of the Maryland Hospital for the Insane
to sell and convey certain land lying between the bed
of the Catonsville Short Line Railroad Company and
the Frederick Turnpike.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 31, of Article 12, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Garrett County,"
sub-title "County Commissioners," and to add two
additional sections to said Article, to be designated
31 A and 31 B, relating to the election and term of
service of said County Commissioners, and the filling
of any vacancy which may occur in the same.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Garrett County Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the institu-
tion of suits before Justices of the Peace in Kent
county.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Kent County Delegation and Mr, Bittinger.
Also.
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 131, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title "Revenue and Taxes," sub-title
"Assessment of Corporate Stock Owned by Non-Resi-
dents," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
