habitual criminals.

Committee on the Judiciary.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title
"Fraud, Conversion oi! Money or Securities," to be
numbered 96 A, and to follow after section 96.
Which was read a first time and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to establish an Asylum
for the Insane of the State of Maryland.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the index-
ing of the Senate Journals, the bound volumes of the
Senate printed bills and Senate documents in the
office of the Secretary of the Senate.

Long, Collector of State and county taxes of Somerset
county for the year 1888, to enforce the payment of

173, 176 and 178, of Article 2, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title
"Justices of the Peace," and to re-enact said section
with amendments, and to add new sections to said
Article 2, to be designated as sections 171 A, 171 B,
176 A, 176 B, 178 A, 178 B and 178 C.
