Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claims of Wm. L. Pfeiffer and George
Jewell for work done and material furnished at the
State House and Executive Mansion during the pres-
ent year.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to re-enact section 42, of
Article 12, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Garrett County," sub-title "County Seat."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Garrett County Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay R. C. Mackall for expenses incurred
under an appointment made by his Excellency, Elihu E.
Jackson, late Governor, as a delegate to the Southern
Emmigration Convention.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 3 and 10 of the Acts of
1890, chapter 334, in relation to the granting of license
and sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in Balti-
more county.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Baltimore County Delegation.
Also, returned,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay A. S. Abell & Co. and others for pub-
lishing the Constitutional Amendments.
Endorsed: "Considered, amended and read a third
time, and passed by yeas and nays, with proposed
amendments:"
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In section 1, line 10, after the words "in favor of,"
insert the following: "The Third National Bank of
Maryland, assignee of."
