reconsider the vote by which the following order, as
amended by the Committee on Printing, was lost
under Rule 53:
Ordered, That there be printed of the report of the
Maryland Agricultural College and Experiment
Station, 3,000 copies, and of the portion relating to
the Experiment Station, 6,000 copies additional, bound
separately in paper; that these reports be delivered to
the Dresident of the said college, and that ten (10)
copies of the entire report and fifty (50) copies of the
Experiment Station Report be sent to the State
Librarian, and the president of said college shall dis-
tribute ten (10) copies of the college report, and fifty
(50) copies of the Experiment Station Report, as may
be directed by each member of this House and of the
Senate, free of expense to such members; provided,
that the entire cost shall not exceed the sum of ——
dollars.
Which motion prevailed.
Mr. Laird submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT TROPOSED.
Strike out all after the word "copies," in line 3,
down to the word "paper," inclusive, in line 5.
Which was rejected.
Mr. Wilkinson submitted the following as a substi-
tute for the order as reported by the Committee, viz :
Ordered, That there be printed of the report of the
Maryland Agricultural College and Experimen Sta-
tion, 300 copies, and of the portion relating to the Ex-
periment Station, 3000 copies additional, bound
separately in paper; that these reports be delivered to
the President of the said College, and that 10 copies
of the entire report and 50 copies of the Experiment
Station report be sent to the State Librarian, and the
President of said College shall distribute one copy of
the College Report and 20 copies of the Experiment
Station Report as may be directed by each member of
this House and of the Senate, free of expense to such
members; provided that the entire cost shall not ex-
ceed the sum of seven hundred dollars.
