Mr. Joyce, from the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Woodberry Manufacturing Company.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
Joint Resolution directing the State Librarian to
subscribe in the name of the State to 250 copies of
Ringgold's Index to the Maryland Decisions.
Which was read, considered, and,
On motion, recommitted to the Committee on the
Judiciary.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Acts of
1890, entitled an Act to amend Article 52 of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Justices of the Peace,"
except as to the City of Baltimore and Queen Anne's
eounty.
Mr. McSherry submitted the following proposed
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 2, line 6, after the words "Queen Anne's,"
insert "Talbot, Harford and Frederick counties."
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 205, of Article 16, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Chancery," sub-
title "Trustees."
Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Berret, from the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay Wm. B. Usilton and others for publish-
ing the Governor's Proclamation after the election,
announcing the result of the voting for and against
the Constitutional Amendments.
