of such a law as we desire to frame. We have also
been aided by gentlemen versed in the law, who could
point out the legal defects of propositions or require-
ments of the law.
With a committee, so composed, this bill has been
scrutinized as to its practicability from a business
standpoint, and as to legality from a legal stand-
point, and the chairman, in returning thanks to
each and every member of the committee who have
unexceptionally done their duties well, takes pleasure
in saying to this Honorable Body that, in the opinion
of the committee, the bill herewith presented meets
the fullest requirements and properly protects all
interests.

Mr. Carter, from the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to add additional sections
to Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Chancery," sub-title "Pleading, Practice and
Process," to be designated as section 186 A.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 28, of
Article 17,' of the Code of Public General Laws, en-
titled "Clerks of Courts," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
Which were severally read a first time.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 86, of
Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, en-
titled "Licenses," sub-title "Penalties," relating to
the sale of liquors to minors, and chapter 304, of the
Acts of Assembly of 1890, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
Which was adopted.
