title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Sabbath
Breaking."
For the unfavorable report of the Judicary Commit-
tee, February 25th, on said bills.
Considered, and further consideration postponed
and made the Order of the Day for March 8th, 12.30
P. M.
On motion of Mr. Brennan,
House bill No. 87, known as the "Weekly Pay Bill,"
was made the Order of the Day for Wednesday, March
2d, 12.30 P. M.
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional sec-
tions to Article 15, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Kent County," sub-title ''Oysters."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 to 27, in-
clusive, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dor-
chester County," sub-title "Almshouse," and to
enact the following in lieu thereof, giving the Com-
missioners of the county exclusive management of
said Almshouse.
Which was read a first time, and referred to Dor-
chester County Delegation.
Also, returned,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace in Elec-
tion District No. 5, in Frederick county.
Endorsed : "Read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays."
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct
the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's county
to grant a pension to John L. Jones, of the Second
Election District of said county.
Endorsed : "Read the third time, and passed by yeas.
